MERINO WOOL
Warm, breathable, moisture repellent and anti-static, Merino has the capacity to deal with moisture like no other yarns, absorbing perspiration and releasing it into the air as vapour. It is naturally odour resistant too. Luxuriously soft and gentle against the skin, it reacts to your body's temperature, keeping you warm when it's cold and releasing body heat and moisture when it's hot. The natural elasticity and resilience of Merino wool enables it to spring back into shape with ease.

Fantastic on Overland Track
By: Tim on 6 November 2020"Just got back from the Overland Track, Tasmania. Wore trail runners not hiking boots. I wore Coolmax liner socks under these Dexshell hiking socks - on a few days I was walking constantly in 3-4 inch deep water running down the trail, experienced light snow, hail and constant rain, lots of mud, and it was cold. At the end of the day my liner socks were just slightly damp from sweat, otherwise feet were dry (and blister free). In my opinion this is a far better option (liner socks, Dexshell socks, trail runners) than heavy so-called waterproof hiking boots that eventually get wet and then never dry out. I started each day with dry liner socks, dry inside Dexshell socks, and damp but relatively dry trail runners. I rate these socks very highly. Just bought some Dexshell gloves as well."

amazing, you will want them
By: peter S. on 6 November 2020previously I had used sealskinz. These dexshells are an order of magnitude more comfortable. I have tested them thoroughly. In the bath at home, 10 minutes walking on the spot fully submerged, not a drop. Taken them on 3 or 4 of 15 km plus walks, frequently in the rain. They kept my feet completely dry in open, nonwaterproof trailrunners, splashing through deep puddles etc; so long as I was wearing rain pants. Obviously torrential rainwater can run down your legs and get in the top otherwise. Very comfortable and breathable. I decided to put this to the test, so I did not change them for 4 days inclusive of some extensive day hikes as mentioned. No smell! They do not have the very slight "wet suit bootie" feel that the sealskins have due to the looped 38%wool inner. I have also bought some of the hytherm pro for snow . They seem to size a little small, I'm a very broad size 12US and the XLarge fit very well with no rucking up. sz13 would be OK but 14 might be finding them a little snug.

Hiking Socks
By: Gayle C. on 6 November 2020These socks are the best!!! Not only did they keep my feet dry during creek crossings, the wicking inner layer kept my feet nice and dry which is unusual for me as my feet sweat a lot. Very happy customer. My new go to winter socks. Would like another colour rather than army green, but don't care, they perform to colour doesn't matter.

Waterproof socks
By: Sofia A. on 6 November 2020I wore these socks for 4 days on a 5 day hike in New Zealand crossing multiple rivers and creeks. The depth of the crossings were not above the top of the socks. I also wore an injinji liner sock and hoka trail running shoes. My feet remained dry throughout. I would definitely recommend these socks.

Warm and dry.
By: Alex H. on 6 November 2020"They do as they intend, keep your feet warm and dry. I've used them on a recent ski trip inside ski boots. Even when some snow got inside my boots my feet remained dry, and most importantly, warm."
